Palestine Luxury Travel Vacation Guide

The founding place of many of the world?s religions, Palestine is quite the spectacle to behold. While tourism has suffered a great deal in recent years due to political unrest, the country remains optimistic about the future as it has quite a lot to provide for visitors. Nearly all the major attractions in the region can be visited during a short holiday to Palestine as the country is rather small and transportation is carried out with ease. Fine dining, terrific accommodations and custom tours are just the beginning in Palestine.

Gaza and West Bank

Once the site of a horrid political war, West bank and the Gaza Strip are now among the many famous attractions in Palestine. Though there still remains some conflict over ownership of parts of the region, West Bank and Gaza can be accessed peacefully and enjoyed for its splendid scenery and tranquility.

Acknowledged by many as the birthplace of Jesus Christ, the city of Bethlehem has so much history connected to it. Not only is it the gateway to many of the goings-on in the region but it is also peppered with a wealth of historical artifacts and attractions. The Church of the Nativity is among the highlights of Bethlehem as it is one of the oldest operating churches in the entire world.

Rachel's Tomb

Located just outside of the Jerusalem neighborhood, Rachel's Tomb is a remarkably important sacred site to those practicing Judaism. This stone covered tomb is absolutely gorgeous and has been a very popular draw for tourists for many years.

Travel to and within Palestine

The vast majority of those traveling to Palestine arrive there via a shuttle bus that transports them from the Tel Aviv Airport in the neighboring country Israel.

Traveling around the country on a bus can be, at times, a little chaotic however it is quite cheap. You may also choose to rent a car to tour the country if you so wish.

Palestine Language

The official language of Palestine is Arabic with English speaking populations scattered throughout the country.

 Palestine Food & Drink

Restaurants are located all over the country and serve a variety of cuisines. Whether you have a craving for a local food or some other ethnic dish you can be sure to find something to satisfy that hunger in Palestine.

Palestine Shopping and Safety

Though the country is known for the political upheaval it has undergone, and, to a lesser degree, still endures, it is normally a safe place to travel.

Renowned for the abundance of quality souvenirs, gifts and handmade articles sold in the markets, Palestine is quite the delightful place to shop.
